What is Dental Monitoring?
Dental Monitoring is an app that you can download to your smartphone device. You can use this app to snap weekly pictures of your smile and send them to us at the clinic. The app gives you a direct line to your Specialist Orthodontist, who can answer your questions and make sure your treatment is moving along as planned.
During your initial consultation at Ilam Orthodontics, we will use our 3D iTero Digital Scanner to create an accurate virtual model of your smile. We use this 3D model with our Dental Monitoring software to match the selfies you send us against the projected progress in your custom treatment plan. If everything looks as it should, we won’t even need to see you at the clinic.
With Dental Monitoring you can complete your Invisalign® treatment from work, from home, or even from vacation! As long as you have a phone signal, you’ll be able to monitor your treatment with us from anywhere. Even better, with more constant access to your progress, we may be able to speed up your treatment plan if your teeth are moving ahead of schedule. Dental Monitoring will make your Invisalign® treatment more efficient than ever.
Did you know that Dental Monitoring is the FIRST Artificial intelligence (AI) driven monitoring app in orthodontics!
