Invisalign® clear aligners are custom-made to your exact treatment needs, as directed by the orthodontists at Ilam Orthodontics. Each set of trays is worn for 5-14 days and is manufactured to gradually shift your teeth according to your individual treatment goals.

What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® clear aligners are invisible, removable and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. This means you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven clinically effective at treating most malocclusions. Is Invisalign® right for me?
Not only are Invisalign® aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want. By removing your aligners you can clean, brush, and floss your teeth easily as well. They are comfortable to wear, have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment, and require less checkups at the orthodontic clinic.
Invisalign® allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
How does Invisalign® work?
You wear each set of aligners for 5-14 days, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position the orthodontists have prescribed. You will visit Ilam Orthodontics usually once every 12-14 weeks to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time varies and the average number of aligners worn during treatment will vary from patient to patient.

With the help of our Dental Monitoring software, the already convenient Invisalign® treatment is even easier to fit into your lifestyle. Using an app that you download to your smartphone, you can take weekly pictures of your smile and send them to us at the office. We can track your progress against your bespoke treatment plan, and if everything looks good, we won’t even need to see you at the clinic. In fact, we may be able to speed up your treatment time!
