Dr Marguerite Crooks

Marguerite Crooks joined the Riccarton Orthodontic Practice in 1996. Marguerite has a Bachelor of Physical Education, holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Otago. Following her specialist training Marguerite spent time as an orthodontist overseas before returning the New Zealand. She is an active member of the NZ Orthodontic Study Group and is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Marguerite has two daughters and enjoys gardening, swimming and horse riding.

Dr Peter Fowler

"Peter graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and undertook specialist orthodontic training in the UK which includeda Master's Degree in Orthodontics from the University of London, a Diploma of Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England

He also completed a Fellowship in the specialist field of Orthodontics from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. More recently he is undertaking a part time PhD from the Paediatric Department at the University of Auckland's Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

Peter has been awarded a Fellow of the New Zealand Dentak Association, a fellow of the International College of Dentists and a Honorary Member of the Taiwanese Orthodontic Association. He is also a Final Fellowship examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago. Discipline of Orthodontics. He has also been awarded a Membership in the Faculty of Dental Trainers from the Royal  College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

Peter is Board certified with the Australasian Orthodontic Board and is an accredited with the New Zealand Association of Orthodontist’s Practice Accreditation Program. He is a strong supported and actively participates in the New Zealand of Orthodontist’s Wish For A Smile Charity work. He works one day a week at the Christchurch Hospital with children have who cleft lip and palate and special needs. He also undertakes orthodontics for adults who have dentofacial deformities that require orthognathic (jaw) surgery. He travels annually to Cambodia for voluntary work with cleft and craniofacial clinics and underprivileged children, providing support and instruction.

Peter has three sons, he enjoys tramping, skiing, hunting and fishing as well as participating in multi-sports.”

Robyn enjoys welcoming and getting to know all of our patients that come into our practice and likes to make
  their visit here a calm and positive one.

  She enjoys spenping time with family and friends and loves taking her Jack Russell 'Archie' on walks


   Aileen Darang                                      

    Aileen  a registered dentist who moved with her family to New Zealand from the Phillippines. She joined 
    Ilam Orthodontics in 2014, and is devoted to her chosed career.

     She enjoys exploring New Zealand with her husband on their motorbike. She is a passionate baker and enjoys                       
     socialising with  her friends and family

          Lisa Caley

Lisa moved to Christchurch from th UK in January 2016. She trained as a dental nurse in the Royal Liverpool University
          Dental Hospital where she worked for 2 years. This was followed by working in a busy dental practice for the next eight years.

          In her spare time she looks after her fur baby (kitten) Django and visiting the city's new cafes and resturants with friends.

          Lisa enjoys New Zealand's blue skies, music festivals, camping, hiking and getting hooked on a good TV series.


    Emma Smith

Emma moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2009 where she trained a dental nurse.Since moving to New Zealand she has
    found a passion working within the orthodontic field.

    Emma lives in Christchurch with her partner and young son, She enjoys spending time with family and going to local
    community events.         

    Haidee Cardro

    Haidee has been working in the dental field for more than 15 years. She is a registered dentist from the Philippines. She is
    a registered Orthodontic Auxillary.

    Haidee is married with a daughter and loves spending time with her family. Haidee is also passionate about travelling
    around New Zealand
